xAPI Cohort

Spring 2022 xAPI Cohort Starts in 2 Weeks!
Join us for the LIVE kickoff web session January 20th

Starting January 20th, every Thursday for 12 weeks, xAPI Cohort live web sessions will take place from 2:00–3:00 PM US Eastern Time. Join the sessions online by entering the Virtual Classroom at xapicohort.com/session. You will need to register the first time you enter the room.

Our first session will introduce xAPI and the xAPI Cohort. We'll talk about the projects you can take on, how to join a team, and what makes a project group successful. Please don’t feel overwhelmed if you’re not quite ready to brainstorm projects yet!

With so many new members excited to get things started, we're providing a few early resources this week and next.

Let's Talk

Join the conversation on Slack
Slack is the online collaboration tool where a lot of the discussion and learning in the xAPI Cohort happens. If you’re not familiar with Slack, watch this YouTube video. While this doesn't show our xAPI Cohort Slack, it is informative about the basics.

  • If you are new to xAPI Cohort's Slack, you will receive an invite to join. Feel free to jump in right away!

  • If you are returning to Slack from a previous xAPI Cohort, the Slack Workspace and your previous credentials are the same. Slack will let you reset your password if necessary.

Once you've signed into the xAPI Cohort Slack, introduce yourself in the #social channel. Tell us who you are, what you do, what got you interested in xAPI, and if you have any ideas for a project.

Join the conversation on social media too with the hashtags #xAPI and #xAPICohort.
Invite Your Colleagues and Friends to Join

It's never too late to join Cohort and it's totally fine to jump right in, so there is still plenty of time for others to join the xAPI Cohort for Spring 2022. Post the xapicohort.com link or click here to forward this email and invite someone!

Follow @xAPIGnome on Twitter. The Gnome will be tweeting about the xAPI Cohort and sharing valuable resources throughout the semester.

If you have any questions, give me a shout by email or Slack!

See you in Cohort!
